What a pleasure!
Jen Turner tutored my son Aidyn over a period of 18 months. During this time, Jen supported him to develop his reading & literacy skills to their full potential.
Her gentle approach to learning, her kindness & understanding, meant that Aidyn could develop his skills at his own pace & without stress - reducing his anxiety and reluctance to learning.
Jen was very considered in her approach & was always attentive to & in tune with Aidyn's cues, struggles and obstacles. This meant that he developed resilience, broke through the learned helplessness that he had developed over time, and gained confidence to want to engage.
Jen's encouragement & nurturing, & positive, unwavering belief in his abilities, allowed Aidyn to settle, focus, & enjoy the process.
Jen understood how to tailor Aidyn's sessions around his social, emotional & physical needs, & also involved me to be a part of the process & see his incredible strides for myself.
Aidyn managed to go from a foundational level in literacy to catching up to his same age peers in just 18 months! We couldn't be prouder of what he has achieved so far!
Aidyn & I will take the wisdom learned from Jen well into the future. We are so grateful to have had her on our team.

I wanted to learn to speak more local and understand what local people talk about and I am so lucky to find Jenny.
She helped my English speaking be more relaxed and she corrected my pronunciation. In addition, she broadens my vocabulary with local words and idioms so I can be comfortable speaking in my local community.
All these things have really improved my English a lot!
